Over the last few years the transformation of North Watford Park and Nara Woods has been fantastic. The rejuvenated woodland and new play area are a result of the combined efforts of local residents, guided by the tireless Fran Clark, the Ridge Residents’ Association and the Borough Council. Added thanks is due to Groundwork, the Environmental Regeneration Charity, who have organised the removal of ailing sycamore trees in the Nara woods.
Over the coming weeks, in anticipation for a bright Spring, volunteers will work on an assortment of clearance tasks and ground tidying to promote new growth. Groundwork will be directing and heading the completion of this recent phase, and this programme of maintenance and improvement continues throughout the year.
