Many of us in Nascot enjoy shopping at Watford Market, despite having watched it being buffeted by the changes in the Town Centre over the years.
It is now braced for yet another set-back as the visiting Christmas Market has secured the prime slots on The Parade for the key Christmas period - in so doing displacing committed stall holders and further damaging their livelihoods.
For loyal Market Traders to be displaced by a visiting Market shows an unfortunate lack of respect for permanant stall holders. We are asking that the council leadership and the Mayor’s Office examine this situation again, as the current policy could spell the end for a number of local small businesses.
