Watford's council tax is too high
Watford Borough council tax is one of the highest in the County. It has got so high, the Lib Dem administration is now resorting to 'stealth taxes' to raise even more money - taxes like the infamous gardening tax and parking charges.
In addition they happily pocket the money they are paid by developers even when they claim to oppose the development!
We must eliminate waste a bureaucracy - ending the focus on vanity projects and photo opportunities to get back to core services.
As Binita Mehta-Parmar says, 'We must tax less and spend better".
