On Friday 7th October, Richard Harrington MP, visited local Berrygrove Primary School to attend the awards assembley and present badges for the Schools Cabinet.
Year 6 pupils at the school had been chosen to represent other class years at the School's Cabinet and Richard Harrington was delighted to meet the pupils in a special assembley and to talk about his role as MP.
Richard said:
"I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the pupils and parents at Berrygrove. It is a wonderful school and the staff work hard to teach the children about politics and democracy.
I enjoyed chatting to the children about their new role and answering their questions."
