Education is one of the key responsibilities of Herts County Council. The Conservative County Council continues to make education a priority and the works to expand Beechfield Primary school will provide even better local schooling facilities.
“Having been a school governor in the past I know how important such improvements at school sites can be and how they can bring fresh enthusiasm in both staff and pupils alike,” said Callowland Leggatts Conservative representative Suqlain Mahmood.
Furthermore, Richard Harrington MP has worked with The University of Hertfordshire, the Meller Educational Trust and hotel chain Hilton Worldwide to secure funding for the local Technical College project.
Suqlain who is a Chartered Engineer himself said, “The new Technical College, together with the apprenticeship opportunities, offer local young people new ways to learn and earn. All these recent education related developments are excellent news for Callowland Leggatts residents and Watford.”
