After much frustration, we are pleased that the safety and pedestrianisation project around the Cassiobury shops roundabout has been delivered to its new deadline. Binita worked consistently to connect with colleagues at HCC to regularly update upon the issues residents, business owners and users have been experiencing, including calling upon the Cabinet Member for Highways, Terry Douris, to discuss the issues on site.
Binita says: “As a regular user of the shops on the parade, I shared the frustrations felt by all. I am so pleased that this has now been completed. I am sorry for the delay and it is a great shame that people were affected for so long, but thanks to everyone for their cooperation.” She is now working with our MP to raise questions around how the project was conducted.
